Alta-Aware-790 Vulnerabilities in Go before 1.20.3 and 1.19.8 could cause denial of service

Vulnerabilities in Go's net/http, net/textproto, mime/multipart could cause denial of service due to excessive memory or CPU consumption.

Affected Products

• Ava Aware:
  • All Stable upgrade channel versions before 5.7.10.
  • All Beta upgrade channel versions before 5.8.1.
• Ava Cameras:
  • All Stable upgrade Channel versions before 5.7.10.
  • All Beta upgrade channel versions before 5.8.1.
• Ava Cloud: before 14th April 2023.

Unaffected Products

• Ava Aware:
  • All Stable upgrade channel versions after and including 5.7.10.
  • All Beta upgrade channel versions after and including 5.8.1.
• Ava Cameras:
  • All Stable upgrade channel versions after and including 5.7.10.
  • All Beta upgrade channel versions after and including 5.8.1.
• Ava Cloud: from 14th April 2023.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in Ava Aware Beta upgrade channel version 5.8.1 and Stable upgrade channel version 5.7.10.

It is highly recommended that all installations running an affected version are upgraded to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download.

A fix was deployed to the Ava Cloud on 14th April 2023. Ava Cloud customers do not need to take any additional action.

This issue has been fixed in Ava Camera Beta upgrade channel version 5.8.1 and Stable upgrade channel version 5.7.10.

It is highly recommended that all Ava Camera installations running an affected version upgrade to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download.
