About: Alta camera recovery mode

In the event an Alta camera suffers a hardware failure, or a firmware or software issue, the camera enters recovery mode. Logging into the local user interface for the camera in recovery mode displays the available options.

When an Alta camera goes into recovery mode, you should download the log files and send them to Support for root cause analysis, so that they can assist in the diagnosis and rectification of the issue.

There are situations where the camera cannot use HTTPS, and in these cases the normal web interface is not available. and the camera cannot boot correctly.

In these cases HTTP, rather than HTTPS, can be used to communicate with the camera, and this will return a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error along with text starting Camera is experiencing technical issues. followed by the list of issues it could diagnose.
