Introducing: Ava Cloud Connectors

When adding your existing 3rd-party cameras or when connecting your on-premise Ava Cameras to your Ava Aware Cloud deployments, use an Ava Cloud Connector to provide the always on analytics (for your 3rd-party cameras) and on-site storage (for both on-premise Ava Cameras and your 3rd-party cameras.)

Depending on your requirements regarding the number of sites to protect, the number of cameras needed, and how long you need to store your recorded video, use one or more Ava Cloud Connectors to provide the analytics, image processing and storage for your installation.

Each Ava Cloud Connector is delivered with the Aware software pre-installed.

Single and multi-appliance deployments

With the flexibility to build Ava video security systems based around the cloud, a single Ava Cloud Connector, or to have multiple Ava Cloud Connectors working across large installations and several sites, your configuration can be customized to your exact requirements. The Aware software provides the tools you need for running single-appliance and multi-appliance configurations.

When configured as part of a cluster, use the Aware software to configure and visualize the information flow between nodes, server-groups, and sites.

  • Nodes — individual Ava Appliances that can operate either on their own, or as part of a server-group.
  • Server-groups — Groups of Ava Appliances, that have good network connectivity, and that provide interchangeability within the server-group. For example, if a node fails, camera feeds are handled by other Ava Appliances in the same server-group. A server-group can include the appliances from one or more sites.
  • Sites — A logical grouping that represents a physical location, and consists of one or more Ava Appliances and a number of cameras. A site can belong to only one server-group.
  • Cluster — All the nodes and server-groups for a deployment.

The design of the Ava Appliances and the Aware software provides you with the flexibility to easily expand your Ava environment as your organization grows.

Ava Cloud Connector 500

The Ava range of appliances starts with the Ava Cloud Connector 500. The Ava Cloud Connector 500 is supplied in a workstation form-factor.

Typical use for Ava Cloud Connector 500

Designed for capturing and analyzing the feeds from up to 25 cameras, and with sufficient storage for most situations provided by up to three SATA hard disk drives (up to 32TB (net) storage), the Ava Cloud Connector 500 provides an ideal basis for the small organization. It is equally useful as a node for a smaller office when configured as part of a larger cluster installation.

Ava Cloud Connector 750

The Ava Cloud Connector 750 is supplied in a workstation form-factor.

Designed for capturing and analyzing the feeds from up to 50 cameras, and with sufficient storage for most situations, the Ava Cloud Connector 750 provides an ideal basis for the small-to-medium organization. It is equally useful as a node for a smaller office when configured as part of a larger cluster installation.

Ava Cloud Connector 1000

The Ava Cloud Connector 1000 is supplied in a workstation form-factor.

Typical use for Ava Cloud Connector 1000

Designed for capturing and analyzing the feeds from up to 75 cameras, and with sufficient storage for most situations provided by up to four SATA hard disk drives (up to 48TB (net) storage), the Ava Appliance 1000 provides an ideal basis for the small-to-medium sized organization. It is equally useful as a node for a smaller office when configured as part of a larger cluster installation.

Ava Cloud Connector 2000

Ava Cloud Connector 2000 appliances provide more memory, greater processing power and higher storage potential than the Ava Cloud Connector 1000 appliances. The Ava Cloud Connector 2000 is a rack-mounted 2U appliance.

Designed for capturing and analyzing the feeds from up to 100 cameras, and for storing that information for longer, the Ava Cloud Connector 2000 is aimed at the medium-to-large organization.

With video storage on up to 12 SATA hard disk drives (up to 160TB (net) storage), the Ava Cloud Connector 2000 provides the extra processing power and memory needed to run analytics from many feeds. The Ava Cloud Connector 2000 is equally useful as a node within a large Ava video security systems cluster deployment.

Ava Cloud Connector 3000

The Ava Cloud Connector 3000 appliances are designed for the most challenging applications. With multiple CPU's and GPU's, and more memory, these appliances are designed for the most demanding installations. The Ava Cloud Connector 3000 is a rack-mounted 2U appliance.

Aimed at the larger site, or as a node within a very large Ava video security systems cluster deployment, the Ava Cloud Connector 3000 appliances provide the extra processing power and memory needed to run analytics from up to 200 cameras. With video storage on up to 12 SATA hard disk drives (up to 160TB (net) storage) you have plenty of storage for your recorded video.
